“Have I ever been wrong?  I mean when it’s important!” – Scuttle

My girls are currently obsessed with The Little Mermaid–especially Princess because she has red hair.  Scuttle is one of my favorite Disney characters.  He’s so silly!

In honor of Scuttle we did Dinglehopper Hairdo’s.

Materials Needed:

  • Fork
  • Hair elastics, clips, bows, etc.

I brushed through my girls’ hair with the dinglehopper.  We pulled it up into crazy do’s with hair elastics.

Here are the final results:

Goofy’s Dinglehopper Hairdo.

Princess loved getting her hair done with the dinglehopper.

Lookin’ good!

You could have so much fun with this idea.  What crazy (or not so crazy) hairdo’s can you come up with?

This was a simple activity that my kids loved!  But watch out–your kids might start trying to comb their hair at the dinner table with a fork just like Ariel.

Enjoy watching Scuttle with the dinglehopper below.

Too fun! We haven’t watched Little Mermaid in a long time since our vcr died. We need to upgrade all our movies.

That’s a bummer. And it’s so hard to find classic Disney DVD’s once they’ve been locked in the vault. And if you haven’t seen this and need a laugh check out Studio C’s Disney Vault Sketch. So funny!
