Summer is the perfect time for frozen treats.  Don’t you agree?  Not to mention Pixar’s The Incredibles is a perfect family movie.

Perfect movie + perfect treat = perfect family movie night.

Did I mention the treat is low-fat?!

Materials Needed:

  • Low-fat vanilla yogurt

How to Make:

  • Gather your ingredients.

  • We left our strawberries whole, but you could cut them into slices or chunks.

  • Fill each area for ice cubes half way full with yogurt.

  • Insert your strawberries.  At this point you may add popsicle sticks for a less-sticky experience.
  • Freeze your tray for 3-4 hours or until the yogurt has set.

  • Pop the yogurt-covered strawberries out of the ice cube tray.  (I did this by setting the tray in a 9″ x 13″ dish filled 1/4 of the way with warm water.)
  • Enjoy!

This is a frozen treat your kids will love to help you make–they will love eating them even more!
